Project Report

The team’s project was very definite as it aims to look at the changes underway in the US Navy training techniques. Ideally, the change that has arisen in the emergence of new equipment for the advancing technology will see the team ready under good management to meet the main objective. The project is a large one that involves various activities like the laboratory tests that needed much attention, which means that the workforce is a key priority full of engineers. The assessment of the project had the purpose of designing, implementing, testing and deploying a piece of advanced equipment that operates under the approval of modernizing software.

Additionally, the project ensures that various stakeholders that were to be involved like the person in charge of injecting resources that are key for analysing process. Fortunately, to initiate such a project, the resources must be readily available to make a smooth flow of activities. All the materials or human resources, in particular, were readily available, which acted as the first green light for the project to run smoothly. As the management team, planning is regarded as one of the effective measures that must be taken care of in any entity for a smooth flow. Even though most cases managers disregard planning, the project, which is not an easy burden, is full of plans that see the progress (Maqsoom et al.,2020). The plan with the set standards, functions and fitting in areas of application motivates the continuous process. For the objective to be met, the engineers were made available, and communication was key as the whole team was working towards a common goal.

Moreover, active-duty personnel are readily available to help in any additional input to ensure a smooth flow of activities. The plan helped every individual involved in the project as a training system for the AEGIS brought great interaction among all the stakeholders. However, as with many other projects in this field, the process that lies ahead is subject to various variables. Mostly in the past, the energy system had issues that caused test delays. The structure has no room for new machinery and software; this has been solved by gradually phasing out and eliminating outdated equipment. Lastly, a specific timeframe will be difficult to come by given this project’s scope and cost. The eight-month delivery time was extended by four months to a total of one year.

Scope changes could cause project delays and cost overruns. Any modification in the project scope throughout execution will require a review of the whole initial project plan, including budget, schedule, and quality (Tomlin, 2020). As a result, more time and resources will be required than originally estimated—unscrupulous and inefficient procurement and an ineffective contracting and contractual relationships system. Business contracts include payment terms, pricing, and levels of service. Because of this, a contract that does not outline the complete project scenario could lead to a legal battle. Activity change requests and the desire for a revised written arrangement with new budgets and schedules are examples of situations when the first contract does not contain every significant project work.
