Runnin’ on Dunkin’

I am a breakfast person through and through. I like to drink coffee whether hot or iced, and I like to indulge in savory and sweet foods in the morning. I spend a lot of my time travelling to different places, and it’s taken me awhile to figure out the best fast coffee and breakfast place to stop at during my travels. I always judge each restaurant based on their service quality, whether their prices are fair for the amount of food you get, if the menu has plenty of options, and if their products are satisfying. I have tried gas stations, McDonald’s, Starbucks, and Tim Horton’s, but one of them has risen to the top as my favorite: Dunkin’ Donuts.

When I pulled into my first Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant, their colors of bright orange and pink threw me off a little bit. It seemed like those colors didn’t go together very well, and it made me skeptical of what I was about to experience. When I stepped through the doors, I was instantly greeted by the heavenly smell of fresh-brewed coffee, a gleaming bakery case full of various donuts, and a clean and well kept counter. This welcoming environment is one of many things that keep me coming back to Dunkin’ Donuts.

When it was my turn to order, I was greeted by a smiling employee who was ready to help me with anything I needed. I had questions about some of the menu items, and the clerk was very kind. After ordering, I received my food and coffee in a prompt manner and it was made exactly how I ordered it. I like my coffee to be made a specific way, so I was very pleased with the quality of service provided to me. I have not received bad service from a Dunkin’ Donuts yet.

I have been to many coffee shops with overpriced food and drinks. Yes, the products at these places may taste great, but I don’t like to spend more than is necessary. Dunkin’ Donuts has pleasantly surprising fair prices, and the amount of product you get for what you pay is beyond fair. For less than $8, I can get a medium iced coffee, a breakfast sandwich, and hashbrowns. I love that I can get a high quality meal without breaking my bank. Dunkin’ Donuts has competitive prices and the product to back it up.

When I stop at fast food places, I am not always hungry for the same items. I like to switch it up every now and then. Dunkin’ Donuts offers the usual stuff that you’d see on a breakfast menu, but they also have different items as well. For example, if you are hungry but don’t think you could finish a whole sandwich, the Wake Up Wraps are an excellent substitute. Coffee is obviously the big driving force of this restaurant, but they also carry other drink options. The menu offers a variety of different meats, vegetarian options, sweets, and more. My one complaint for their menu is that they don’t offer blueberry bagels. But I do appreciate their diversity otherwise.

The most important factor that consumers look at when getting food from any restaurant is whether it tastes good, is made from quality ingredients, and is satisfying. The food at Dunkin’ Donuts is made from great ingredients, and it tastes great. I always leave happy with my choices. They are very inclusive in the food they make. As I said before, they offer options for any dietary need.

Although I am a Dunkin’ Donuts supporter, there is one thing that I wish was different. Even with this being a very popular franchise with thousands of stores across the country, they don’t really have any locations in rural areas. I would have to drive 45 minutes to an hour away from home to get to the closest Dunkin’ Donuts. I believe they should branch out more and include their customers who maybe don’t live near large towns or suburban areas. Yes, they sell products in grocery stores such as ground coffee and K-Cups, but those items just don’t quite have the same taste as ordering it from the restaurant does.

Overall, I believe Dunkin’ Donuts is a great option for anyone who is wanting to stop for a quick breakfast, coffee, or midday snack. With their good service, fair prices, diverse menu, and satisfactory food and drink, I would recommend it to anyone who asks. They are competitive in the quick service food industry and are always changing to provide the best experience possible for their customers.
