Summary and Background
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to gather bids from multiple applicant companies, carry out a fair and comprehensive assessment based on the criteria given below and select the candidate best representing Canvas Consulting’s direction of interest. The Canvas Consulting Company was created in 1995 and focuses on consulting in project management and applying best practices and solutions.
Proposal Guidelines
This application meets the criteria for transparent and competitive processes. Ideas are accepted by 17:00 EST on July 30, 2020 for these ideas. The sender will return all entries received after this date. All bids must be signed by a corporation submitting the proposal. If the company proposed should outsource or make every attempt to achieve the norms mentioned in this proposal, it must be noted (Taylor 2021). All expenditures set out in the proposals should be all-inclusive to cover any outsourced work. All bids calling for externalization or contracting work should contain the contracting companies’ names and descriptions. To clarify all charges and rates, all costs must be listed. After the recipient of this RFP is selected, contract terms and conditions will be negotiated. Canvas Consultancy’s legal department shall be assessed in compliance with all contractual terms and circumstances the scope, budget, calendar, and other elements linked to the venture.
Project Purpose and Description
The payroll system of Canvas Consulting was introduced in 2001, and management at the senior level assessed that reliable service delivery is not practical. Moreover, since the human resources department always has a big payroll responsibility, the method has not been effective.
Project Description:
To help the human resources department and the finance department establish clear and correct payrolls, Canvas Consulting aims to use a supplier to use the newest payroll software technology.
Project Scope
This project contains solutions for personal data administration, leave management, staff measures, the calculation of salaries, and employees’ proper attendance registration. The program will also produce several reports to help the office’s senior management in its decision-making process. The system controls and manages the personal database of employees (Gravitt 2021). The system database will be manipulated by specific users with various roles, including managers, managers, personnel, and finance, based on their access credentials. In addition, this software provides authentication and authorization mechanisms. With their username and password, any user with a specified role type can access the system from which access is allowed.

All submissions for this RFP shall be due by 5 p.m. EST on July 30, 2020, at the latest.
Project Timeline:
By September 31, 2020, the start of the project must be completed. By November 15, 2020, the planning stage of the project must be completed. The phase of the venture schedule will establish the schedule for the remainder of the project phases.
Budget
All proposals should include the cost of doing the tasks described in the project scope. These expenses should be characterized as single or non-repetitive costs (NRCs) or monthly recurrent expenditures (MRC). The overall price stimulated is 420,000 dollars
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE BIDDER
For consideration, bidders should include the following components in their proposal:
• Describe your planning and payroll software development experience.
• Make a list of the total number of contract employees in your organization.
