Write 200-300 words in response to the some of the following questions to allow yourself to reconnect with childhood stories and allow us to get to know more about you.
What are your earliest memories of hearing stories? What kind of stories were they, and who told them to you? What feelings are associated with those stories?
What are some of your favorites stories (such as fairy tales, accounts of family members, stories from history)? Can you share some with us?
What long-term impact might stories learned in childhood have in our adult lives?
Do you like to read (other than required for your classes)? What are your favorite books, and why?
Do you consider watching movie a form of reading? What are your favorite movies, and why?
Were you already familiar with the story of Little Red Riding Hood? What messages or meaning did you make of the Perrault version of the fairy tale (or another version you may have read or watched)?
