Assignment Overview and Goals In this class you are required to research and write a policy-style recommendation brief which focuses on either: a destination of your choice ora component of the tourism sector which we have discussed in class. The goal of the assignment is to get you to apply the course concepts in a real-world situation. Your assignment will answer the following question: “In what ways can this location/component of the industry become more sustainable?” You mustidentify your focus for the assignment by 11:59PM EST on March 24 through Quercus. There is a ‘quiz’ with one question where you will enter your assignment focus and one of the TAs will confirm for you that your choice is acceptable. Assignment Details You are to complete this assignment assuming you are providing information to a decision maker in the location or part of the sector you have chosen as your focus. The goal of the assignment is to provide recommendations on how to make your chosen focus area more sustainable. To do so, you will need to include the following sections:background on your focus area (and why it is an important and relevant choice)consideration of internal and external factors impacting your focus areaidentification and evaluation a variety of options for how to improve sustainabilityrecommendation of a path forward. The assignment should have a title page with your name, student ID, assignment title, referencing style chosen, and the area of focus you have chosen (this page does not count towards the page limit of the assignment) The assignment should be visually appealing (see examples provided on the library guide for this courseLinks to an external site.). The written component of the assignment should be between 3-5 pages and should be 12-point font with 1.5 spacing. You will also have one (1) title page and one (1) references page. In total, the length of your submission will be between 5-7 pages (with everything included). You must use references in the assignment.
