The assessment requires you to plan, develop and evaluate a public health promotion project / intervention. You may choose to present on one of the following public health topics: HIV, smoking cessation, obesity, substance misuse, mental health, alcohol or sexual health. Alternatively, you may choose your own topic. YOUR TOPIC MUST BE A PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE AND MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE MODULE. This includes ensuring: There is robust epidemiology data available.Strong health promotion activities and interventions have already been tested / implemented.There is sufficient literature evidence review (studies, journal articles and research).Robust evaluation and impact information. If you choose your own public health topic, YOU MUST GAIN APPROVAL FROM THE MODULE LEADER.
