There are many eye witness accounts of her beings stabbed due to the screams that people heard. However, nobody intervened to help her.
Now, I am sure there are instances in our society where we see people committing a crime in which nobody intervenes to help the victim. This is known as the bystander effect.
In this discussion, I want us to look at (and list) the factors of why someone might help another person, and list the reasons why someone would NOT help another person in a situation where they are being harmed. You are more than welcome to give examples of situations that have arisen in which people did not intervene for various reasons.
