INT103 Human Development Across the Lifespan

INT103 Human Development Across the Lifespan Assienment 3: individual Assessment (35%) Reflective Essay Word count: 1500 — 1800 words
Students are required to write a reflective essay on their lived experience, with application of human development theories to their family and cultural context.
Reflect on your own family and cultural context when you were born and while you were an infant (0 -2 years). Apply your understanding of the Bowlby-Ainsworth Attachment Theory and Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Theory to your social environment during your first 2 years of life.
With reference to the theories, discuss the impact of this environment on your development as you matured (e.g. relationships, decisions etc). Diagrams and tables may be included. This should not be a detailed discussion of the theories, more an explanation of your environment using the framework of the theories.
Integration of material from the text-books and readings on moodle is essential.
Your written essay should include at least 7 current (less than 10 years old) scholarly journal articles, as well as textbook references.
Adherence to the course formatting guidelines is essential (e.g. spacing, font, coversheet, word count); these are listed in the Assessment section on your unit site.
APA 7 referencing both in-text and in the Reference List is required — please see resources on the library site for information.
Do NOT utilise sources such as www.tutor2u.com and other such web materials as these in no way constitute academic references for the purpose of your assignments. If you rely on such sources for theoretical support, you will be deemed NOT to have met the requirements of the assessment.
