It gives you an opportunity to apply theory to practice, supporting you to gain important knowledge to provide rationale for your actions and decisions. Content related to the case studies will be threaded through the taught component of the module to support you in identifying the theory underpinning assessment and planning in complex situations. Through this assessment method, application and interpretation of evidence based assessments and safe effective professional nursing interventions can be demonstrated using clinically relevant case studies.
