EDUC3143 Language and Cultural Diversity- Physical Characteristics 

Clearly identifies the forms of diversity found based on your experiences of studying at an Australian university, using at least 3 criteria. 3 criteria must be chosen from the following aspects, 

(1) ability (2) Age 3) belief systems/ vales 4) culture 5) gender 6) interests 7) interpersonal style 8) language. 9) mental ability 10) expertise /experience/working styles 11) politics 12) race 13) religion 14) sexual orientation 15) thinking and learning styles 16) physical characteristics 

 
Gives sufficient information to paint a clear picture so your audience knows clearly what happens in the specific content of culture diversity, but it does not necessary to go into so much detail as to confuse the audience. 

Discusses how those differences have an impact on your university study (for example, is any special consideration given to particular student to accommodate their diversity?) whether positive or negative.

 

Gives specific examples of how this diversity is accommodated in their study.

Focuses on and explains how the participant responds to the diversity issues mentioned above and how they modify their behaviour in order to accommodate this diversity. Also outlines what they have learned from working with diversity in the university.  
 
You must use at least one examples for each criteria from your own experience to demonstrate this. Can include examples of “Australian” behaviour and how they would have adjusted their own behaviour to accommodate this.
