IT Solutions has recently noticed an increase in the number of phishing email attacks. Phishing is one of the most common types of cyber-attacks that affects the small business environment. To ensure IT Solutions can better mitigate these types of cyber threats, the CEO of IT Solutions, Morgan Coco, has requested that the Information Security Team present a research report on phishing email scams. This research is vital as these types of scams can directly influence the financial security, privacy and confidence of IT Solutions clients.

The report will need to be well researched, contain relevant statistics and make recommendations. The report will need to adhere to IT Solutions organisational style guide as well as comply with relevant legislation. The report is to be filed in accordance with IT Solutions organisational records management policy. This is an UNCLASSIFIED document which will be distributed to staff via the work shared drive (S: Cybersecurity Folder) and to Morgan Coco and the Board of Directors of IT Solutions by email.
