1.post a link to a story that includes data visualization that either effectively or ineffectively supports the narrative of the story. This can be from any form of digital media (newspapers, blogs, video journalism, etc). Please make sure the link you post is not the same as the links already posted by other students.
2.Along with the link, post a written argument (about 250-350 words) that discusses why the data visualization is compelling and effective or ineffective within the broader narrative, from the perspective of the Storytelling with Data book concepts: things to think about for explanatory analysis, effective visual for data context, etc.
You may find that some aspects of the visualization are good while others could be improved — this will not affect your grade for the discussion — so please be critical and honest in your assessment. If the article contains several data visualizations, you should focus your discussion on the design of one specific plot. Make sure your written statement describes which visual you are using.
