More precisely, examining whether creating learning situations that relate to student’s interests can help to create engaging and successful learning experiences. he reason this topic came to be the basis o t e literature review is influenced heavily by my last professional teaching experience. From the timel first began to form my own teaching pedagogy, it was clear to me that the best way to provide a successful learning experience for students was to create activities based on real-life situations, therefor creating contextualisation for students in their learning. This was not the case for the educator in my last professional teaching experience, where teard/fryMi science problems were the primary source of learning. It wasn’t until looking at some of my professional teaching experiences for this literature review that got me thinking about this topic. Another reason for prompting me to look at this topic, is something all educators have heard from their students at somepointintime, “When will I ever use this in the real world?”,!
