Ms. Williams, a fourth-grade teacher comes to you frustrated at the beginning of her first year. She says, “I work really hard to plan exciting lessons that are fun and engaging, but the kids just won’t behave. They talk all the time, they wander aimlessly, they don’t finish their work, and they are driving me crazy! If I can’t figure out what to do, I’m going to have to start using workbooks instead of creative, engaging lessons. What am I doing wrong?”
