Gender
Gender is defined in Wikipedia as the range of characteristics pertaining to, and differentiating between, masculinity and femininity. Each gender possesses a stereotype of what it means to be a boy / man or girl / woman. Each gender can be put into a box of what it means to be a “real” man or a “real” woman. Our culture has come up with often derogatory names for those who don’t fit into the narrow gender box.
