The protest movement discussed in this paper is the civil rights movement of the mid-20th century. The movement had a great impact on the promotion of equality on the civil rights of African Americans. The US started recognizing the need for equality and segregation in schools, voting, and other social places through the movement. My argument is that the civil rights movement inspired and motivated Americans to fight against segregation. It also led to the social equalities enjoyed by all Americans in the US today.

In completing this project, I have encountered various challenges. The main challenge experienced throughout this period is difficulties in accessing books and other relevant sources. In essence, most online materials provide conflicting information, making it challenging to establish accurate sources to use in project completion.
