Write a project on the concept of best practices in human resources management. Begin with an introduction outlining what the project hopes to achieve; following that explain and define HRM locating the subject in its historical context; then detail with good examples those best practices in HRM.
Most importantly, in noting the difference between hard and soft HRM, conclude your essay with your response to the above comment that the ‘soft stuff is always harder than the hard stuff’.
Deadline
The due date is the last week of this semester—week 12 (December 12, 2021)
Referencing
Your paper should be supported by at least six sources which display extensive up-to-date knowledge and understanding of HRM and the key areas differentiating high-performance organisations as well as some of the theories and concepts pertaining to contemporary HRM and the process of optimising and sustaining high performance.
The paper should be fully referenced using the Harvard Referencing System. The School style guide shows how to reference in this way and there are a number of helpful websites that show how it should be done as well.
Housekeeping
This must be a professionally presented paper appropriate for students seeking to graduate with an honours degree.
The paper should be between 16-20 pages, but not exceeding that.
Attention is drawn to the School of Business policies on plagiarism and the style guide. Copies of both documents are available on the module website. Plagiarism software will be used to check the work submitted.
THE PROJECT MUST BE WRITTEN IN YOUR WORDS; ANY OTHER MATERIAL MUST BE REFERENCED. EXCESSIVE PLAGIARISM WILL RESULT IN A FAILED GRADE.
