For this activity I would like you to work in groups/pairs (2-3 people) and work with the course outcomes from the syllabus to describe them in your own way so that you can better understand and apply them in your ePortfolio critical reflection. Keep in mind the critical reflection part will be the biggest factor in your final ePortfolio score. Consider these questions:

Look at the course learning outcomes again and consider: How can you describe these outcomes in your own way?

Can you start to see where you might connect those course outcomes to your own work in the course? Where do you see those connections, specifically?

How does your overall theme or metaphor help you describe your progress and work in the course?

Here are the six course outcomes:

Students will be able to integrate and marshal multiple literacies within and across varied writing contexts to support their goals. 

Students will be able to describe and analyze writing processes to flexibly adapt them to support their goals.

Students will be able to identify, analyze, and critique variation in rhetorical and linguistic patterns, including their own, from a range of cultural, community, technological, workplace, and academic contexts. 

Students will be able to reflect and act on variation in rhetorical and linguistic patterns and, through reflection, negotiate variation in rhetorical and linguistic patterns, including their own, from a range of cultural, community, technological, and academic contexts. 

Students will be able to critically examine and act on identity and its relationship to literacy, language, and power. 

Students will be able negotiate differences and act with intention on feedback from readers when drafting, revising, and editing their writing.
