The pandemic has highlighted numerous legal, ethical, and social dilemmas within our society. When we discuss delayed essential services, COVID tracking and testing, mandatory mask-wearing, quarantine and isolation, vaccine development, resource allocation, and equitable distribution of the vaccine, we do so in the context of balancing what is good for society and the rights of individuals.
Your paper should address the legal, ethical, and social dilemmas related to the question/topic
Topic:
Proof of vaccination is at the top of many lists – clearly the handwritten card with the CDC can be easily forged; and if proof of vaccination is mandated how can we be sure that the paper and/or electronic documentation is valid. Explore the legal (are there any), ethical, and social concerns (and obligations) surrounding proof of vaccination – who is responsible for this, and how can we be confident when we get on a plane, a ship, go to an office, or school.

Qantas Airlines just announced that they will require proof of vaccination, and perhaps one day we will carry vaccination passports.

10 pts
Exceptional
The writer demonstrates correct usage of formal English language in sentence construction. Variation in sentence structure and word usage promotes readability. Writing is concise, in active voice, and avoids awkward transitions and overuse of conjunctions.
8 pts
Satisfactory
The writer occasionally uses awkward sentence construction or overuses and/or inappropriately uses complex sentence structure. Problems with word usage (e.g., evidence of incorrect use of Thesaurus) and punctuation persist, often causing difficulties with grammar. Some words, transitional phrases, and conjunctions are overused. Ideas may be overstated, and sentences with limited contribution to the subject are included.
3 pts

The writer demonstrates limited understanding of formal written language use; writing is colloquial (i.e., conforms to spoken language). Grammar and punctuation are consistently incorrect.
