The Importance of Your Practice Issue
Provide a summary of your introduction section. Include your inquiry (PICOT) question that will provide direction for your work. Explain your approach to the problem and how your approach will address the problem. Respond to at least two of your classmates.

What DNP Essential does it reflect (it should reflect at least one)
What is the prevalence of the issue you are presenting?
How is your topic/issue defined?
Are there barriers which contribute to your topic?
PICOT…..
Remember your PICOT question drives your literature search (this includes articles you are collecting each week currently). Keep In mind you must be looking for the majority of your literature from USA original studies from peer reviewed journals. So far so good…..but now become more particular in the same way you are narrowing your topic. Remember the past 5 years for your literature choices, but older if they are a “classic” study.
