Research studies in the field of developmental economics emphasize the need for economic development, particularly in the less developed or developing countries. Undoubtedly, conducting timely and concise economic research potentially fosters the formulation of sound economic policies that significantly boost the stability and non-inflationary growth of a nation. Moreover, economic research enables handling the various underlying risks inherent in the dynamic and rapid integration of economies in developing nations. Zahonogo (2018) notes that the increased levels of interconnectedness among developing nations have resulted in increased economic development amongst these nations and fostered globalization. Therefore, I seek to research the impacts of economic globalization in developing countries. For instance, multinational corporations operating on a global scale with satellite offices in many locations have a huge influence on economic globalization in the developing countries they function.
The rapid globalization in developing nations has resulted in enhancing health and education systems in these nations. Through economic globalization, vastly developed countries can invest in the developing nations allowing for the creation of job opportunities for the less privileged people in the developing countries. The research question will be answered in the context of developmental gains made in developing nations through economic globalization. This study will evaluate the positive and negative contributions of economic globalization on developing countries by analyzing various issues, including growth, inequality, vulnerability, and poverty levels. Further, the study will investigate the challenges to economic globalization in developing nations and offer recommendations. This research study is essential as global economic growth, and industrial productivity in developing nations are both the driving factors and the main costs of globalization.
