Scope of the project
This project aims to plan, design, develop and implement a cloud-based portal and other software to the organization. The Portal and software will cost the company $100,000. Currently, almost every employee fails to have protocols and procedures regulating the company’s sensitive business information and data. The main problem associated with this method, the company has failed to monitor the performance efficiency of each employee. Also, there has been a wastage of time due to retrieving and locating files of employees working on common different tasks stored in different databases.
The development of various software tends to converge business information tasks, and providing education forums to employees improves their performance on their assigned (Bingham & Gibson 2017). Additionally, the overall usage of file server space and network resources will improve due to the reduction of redundant documentation and compilation of all data and information in an organized database source. The project will solve the challenges mentioned above by using relevant and broad skills from my team. As a team entrusted with portal development, we will work closely with the company managers to ensure the final product meets all the client’s requirements. There will be consultation of relevant industry resources and the development of effective strategies for implementing the Portal.

Acceptance criteria for project Deliverables
1 Cloud-based portal
The acceptance criteria for cloud-based Portal are as follows, the employees and top managers will submit their work report form by filling all required fields. This submission from the same IP address can only be made two times within five minutes during working hours. The following criteria end-user of the Portal will receive a notification email after a successful registration. Finally, the assigned tasks to employees are verified by Portal to make it easier to retrieve the activity information concerning its progress.
2 Management reporting system
These are criteria that MIS should develop it; it should enable the company to design new products quickly; customer response feedback is expected to be quick and fully meets all the customer request (Ratnasabapathy, Perera & Alashwal, 2019). the system will have a user interface that is friendly to everyone within the organization. The MIS should be dependable on the process of reporting performance and effectiveness. The software shall assist the subordinates in overcoming the resistance to change.
3 Decision support system
These are systems developed and implemented to improve the decision-making process. It revolves from the process of manufacturing consumers’ products to the management strategies. For the system to be accepted by the organization, these criteria must be considered by the development team members; the manager can organizing the business information easily without tedious experiences. The system ought to have an interface that is user friendlies. The system should be relatively functional and simple to operate. It will be designed to accomplish the company goals.
4 Expert system
These are systems developed to assist experts in delivering their solutions to a certain problem existing within the company. For instance, a developer is being hired to deliver a software that will assist auditors in carrying out their procedural and substantive testing on the company’s internal control system. for the system to be accepted by the executives, it must meet the following criteria; should be simple to operate, posses an interface which is user friendly, to give straightforward solutions.
5 Enterprise collaboration
Criteria for acceptance are; the solution it will offer to the company must not require significant expenditures, capable of remote management. The managers believe the software shall utilize the available infrastructure within the company and provide advanced functionalities.
The project limitations
In the process of adapting change towards the company procedures in terms of customer-supplier satisfaction, decision-making strategies, and human resource hiring criteria, the following limitations and exclusions are observed, first all software is developed to the specifications and design of the original blueprints as provided by the organization, two the developer is said to responsible for subcontracted tasks. The company is responsible for all costs incurred towards the software. There is the development and testing of prototype software.
Summary on change control process within the organization
The project is all about improving and developing new software, thus assisting the company in providing quality products by enhancing simple and accessible business procedures. The project might involve a complete change of the manual way of storing business information to a cloud-based portal, acting as the public company database. On implementing the proposed software, my team of experts will develop an advanced prototype that is flexible when it comes to changes. All employees shall use the outdate business processes from 1st February to 31st December.
