After completing your reading for this week, write an analysis of personality using a celebrity, fictional or historical character of your choice.

Step 1:

Choose a celebrity or fictional character and introduce him/her by providing a brief biography and description of their personality.  Rate them on each of the five Trait Personality Factors (Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, Neuroticism, Openness and Extraversion) and explain why/how you determined their rating.    

Step 2:

Choose one of the following theories to discuss and apply it to your chosen celebrity or fictional character:

Psychodynamic Perspectives

Social-cognitive Perspectives

Humanistic Perspectives

Apply your chosen perspective to the life history and current functioning of your chosen celebrity or fictional character.

Use at least 5 different key terms, concepts or ideas from the theory to illustrate how this individual developed and functions. Feel free to use creative license when filling in gaps about the individual’s life history. The important part of this paper is to illustrate your understanding of the personality perspective you choose.

You must include at least two different sources to support your own ideas.  Remember to use in-text citations and a reference page at the end of your paper using APA format.
