In Chapter 7 the authors state there several reasons researchers have found for our attraction to others, including proximity, physicality, perceived gain, similarities and differences, and disclosure. Describe a relationship where you were surprised forming a strong healthy relationship to another person that was “different” than you in personality, communication, hobbies etc., but somehow the relationship is complimentary- you both get something from the other. 4 points
