In this assignment, you will practice collecting data using both frequency and partial interval recording methods.  Once you have used the student video (link included here) to fill out both data sheets (provided below) you will answer the questions in this exercise.

Students Learning Objectives

Collect both frequency (continuous measure) and partial interval data (discontinuous measure)

Steps to complete the assignment:

1.  Download the assignment here.  Print both data sheets.

Written exercise 3b_Measurement .pdf download

2. Follow the directions on the assignment.  Watch the video one time to record frequency data and a second time to record partial interval data. You may choose to preview the video before you start collecting data. Click the link below to the page where the video is located.

3.  Answer the questions by clicking on “Take the quiz.” (Please note that this is not a quiz. This just allows the instructor to present these questions to you.)

These questions should be answered after completing the Behavioral Assessment: Frequency and Interval Recording activity.   You should have both data sheets filled out BEFORE you answer these questions.  You will have to watch the short video once for frequency data and once for interval data.

You are not graded on the accuracy of your data collection for this activity.  The intention of this activity is to give each ABA student opportunity to engage in data collection behaviors and evaluate the process.  Your instructor will score your answers after you submit this written exercise.
