Research Paper Guidelines The Research Paper will consist of a terrorism case

Research Paper Guidelines

The Research Paper will consist of a terrorism case analysis and will provide students with an opportunity to critically analyze an actual terrorist event which can involve the U.S. (on our soil or in another country) or be an international event. Students will be expected to discuss the various aspects related to the case study, including the person/group responsible for the act of terrorism, the target(s)of the attack, a summary of the events leading up to, during, and after the event, their impact on the community and organizations involved in the event and any other important information and factors that should be considered. I will be providing a list of some suggestions below, but you are free to choose any terrorist event as long as you are able to find enough material to cover your research requirements and meet the spirit and intent of the assignment.

If you fall short of the required length, it will negatively impact your grade. The Research Paper will culminate in a minimum 2,500-word paper (excluding the required title page, table of contents, abstract, and a reference page), prepared according to APA style. Font should be Times New Roman 12 pt. with 1-inch margins. You should have a minimum of 10 scholarly references in support of your research paper. If you do not know what qualifies as scholarly references, please ask and I am happy to assist and verify your references with you. The Research Paper will be graded based on the breadth and depth of the information presented, the analysis provided, as well as the documentation submitted from the text and outside sources. This is all clearly spelled out in the grading rubric for your reference.

The title I will be using for my Research Paper will be Boston Marathon Bombing (2013)
