This is an essay about SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Before this I wrote a research proposal for this essay, the following is what I extracted from the proposal about what this paper needs to contain:
1. Briefly discuss what SEO is and how it works (at least 200 words)
* The reader of this paper has no knowledge about computer science or web design, so try to explain it less complicated.
2. a brief history of the development of SEO (200-400 words)
3. Explain how to use SEO, or rather, what a company/website should do to achieve the purpose of search engine optimization (at least 900 words).
*discuss mainly the communication and marketing aspects, not the technical aspects
4. Discuss how SEO plays a role in marketing (at least 200 words).
5. discuss how SEO can benefit media websites and/or news websites, and give a few suitable examples (at least 600 words, must choose from peer-reviewed articles)

1. You can write this essay in the order above, or not, but please include all the points in your essay and split them up using subheadings (don’t use above instructions as subheadings).
2. You must use at least six academic peer-reviewed articles as references, including the following four:
