Goals Statement for MBA Program Interns
Professional training is an integral part of Sofia University’s student learning outcomes. In the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program’s Curricular Practical Training (CPT) you are required to gain experience in the workplace. The University requires that your position in a business environment MUST contain a focus in one or more of the following focus areas.
Please check one or more of the following goals that relate to your achieving program learning outcomes in your job during your CPT.
Apply core business principles, theories, models, and practices to analyze complex problems, and to construct and implement solutions in an organizational setting.
Employ appropriate quantitative and qualitative models, and apply critical reasoning processes to evaluate evidence, clarify values and objectives, generate creative alternatives, and select among alternatives to promote effective decision-making.
Develop organizational strategies applying theories, models and practices of positive psychology and workplace well-being; manage people with different cultural backgrounds in a thoughtful and caring way to promote their growth, advancement, and well-being; understand and demonstrate the business value of empathy, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and positive psychology in the workplace.
Demonstrate and strengthen teamwork and leadership skills; collaborate in a culturally diverse setting applying theories, models, and practices of effective team dynamics to structure teamwork; manage teams to draw out skills and promote collaboration; apply theories and models of personality and motivation to enhance value-creation and well-being in an organizational setting.
Apply and strengthen effective communication skills; write concisely and analytically and speak in groups and in public clearly, concisely, and analytically.
