POSITION SUMMARY
Daily analyze production data and material data by building statistical models and metrics, he/she helps in production strategy and decision making. With the data analyses, the company improves production performance by optimization for inventory control of raw materials and finished goods, sales orders & forecast, in-house manufacturing capacity and resources allocation
Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
Utilize strong Microsoft Excel and SQL skills to provide high-quality data analysis and build daily and monthly production performance report and KPI reports, highlight high impact factors to drive manufacturing improvements
Create analysis of slow-moving materials to generate Aging Reports and define the solution in both short term and long term for materials planning every month
Use statistical method to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in historical data and present the results to function head monthly
Utilize predictive modeling to analyze current data in order to set up the best standard production speed, scrap rates and cooking time for next year
Work with other function heads to identify process improvement opportunities and propose system modifications
Prepare quarterly analysis reports for all stakeholders and translate analytics into non-technical insights to help all teams make well-informed decisions based on empirical evidence both in English & Chinese
Assist the Assistant PMC Manager handle daily operational tasks include:
Handling SAP PP & MM module related transactions
Maintaining raw data integrity and predicting missing data
HQ Lean Manufacturing / Operation Excellency Steer Committee Member
Introduce, deliver and manage standard logical thinking methodology, digital information analysis skills and Lean tools applications to our global Lean Steering Committee teams and all related members.
Lead and coordinate various projects or initiatives including the deployment of LEAN tools in global factories, i.e.; 5S, Value Stream Mapping, PDCA and 6 Sigma; etc. which are based on the framework of Business Process Improvement of operational excellence.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BA/BS in Statistics is required
LANGUAGE
Multi-lingual in English & Chinese is required.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos both in English and Chinese. Ability to write correspondence both in English and Chinese. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
SKILLS
Strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets.
Familiar with SQL, R and Python.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, formulas, v-lookups etc.) Word and PowerPoint.
Knowledge in ERP module SAP / Oracle / MFG Pro or any equivalent software
Self-motivated, multi-tasked with a powerful sense of responsibility and detailed oriented in every work.
Well-organized as well as a good team player.
