Business Market Recommendation Report
The real-life final project which must be accomplished must be determined specifically to layout the initiative for the completion upon prior collaboration with the five among other colleagues who are involved in the discussion. An example real-life project is to establish a franchised Nike branch in a location within the popular inner-city mall. Now that the example final project design is already determined, the quorum for discussion with the five other colleagues is set for an incredibly special meeting.
How will you organize the project and delegate tasks?
The initiative to lay out the agenda for discussion is to point out the necessary aspects of the preparation in the process of getting on the official process of starting a franchised Nike business within a strategic location. The following are the agenda for discussion:
Organize a foresight committee to identify the strategic location for the establishment in view of the determination of the following goals:
1. The Nike store should be centrally located on the ground level of a mall.
2. There should not be any competitive sneaker store nearby.
3. It is necessary to meet with mall management at the soonest possible time to accomplish a renting contract.
Discuss the processing method pertinent to the Nike franchising for a special business meeting together with the Nike business representatives with the aims:
1. To layout the company’s vision to set up a franchised Nike branch in a strategic location within the city, most particularly at the center point plaza inside the mall.
2. To discuss matters involved in the franchising requirements for immediate completion.
3. Get on the Nike franchising terms and conditions for business reports and preparations.
Set up a schedule to collate the essential reports on the gathered data once completed the tasks specified in agenda A and B with the aims:
1. Organize a report of the collaborative discussion pertinent to the final project.
2. Layout the proposal of the collaborative team’s effort through a report finding with an inclusive report of the franchising requirements and the terms and conditions involved in the rental of the location, and report of the most ideal strategic location along with the sketch plan for the final project.
3. Layout the projected total costs needed for the implementation of the final project in lieu of the proposed recommendation from 2 business representatives (the Mall and Nike marketing)
How will you make best use of the team’s strengths?
As the collaborative discussion is set up based on the agenda specified above, each member of the business planning team must take the committee leadership action in order to accomplish the necessary requirements for the final project so that the essential data can be organized and presented to the company supervisor for the final approval and allocation of budget.
Those data processes meant for the approval on the allocation of budget subject for the company management on its discretion to set a timetable for the implementation of the business project. The members of the planning team had its strength to secure the essential organized data in view of the proposed plans for concrete presentation which is subject to the approval of the company.
What are some of the potential problems/challenges that might arise, and what will you do to prevent them?
The following were possible challenges that the team might experience based on the layout agenda and recommendation:
Problem 1: Although the location is strategic what if there would be other sneaker stores established in the nearby area?
Solution: Suggest a competitive product quality presentation and boost a competitive marketing strategy.
Problem 2: There is no available ground area to accommodate the proposed franchise business
Solution: Seek another area within the mall that could possibly attract more customers and somewhat accessible for them.
Problem 3: The company’s complexities in dealing with the business terms and conditions stipulated among two companies (Mall and Nike)
Solution: Plan on proper business deals to meet the most satisfactory business agreements.
