Dropbox Assignment: This I Believe PowerPoint Presentation
Create a PowerPoint presentation that distills down your This I Believe Paper as if you were presenting the information to the class. Imagine that you have just 5 minutes to give this presentation. What would you say?
Because your presentation should be only 5 minutes if you were to actually present it, it must summarize the main components of your paper. You should not simply copy and paste your paper into PowerPoint slides.
To complete your presentation:
☐ Open PowerPoint and click New. Choose a template from the options listed, or if you prefer, search online for a template.
☐ Create a title slide, using the Title Slide layout. Your title slide must include. (3pts)
☐ The title of your This I Believe statement.
☐ At least one image. The image may be a personal picture or may be an image you obtain from the internet. Any images obtained from the internet, though, must come from https://creativecommons.org/ or be properly cited.
☐ Create at least 4 additional slides using any of the layouts provided (except Title Slide). (12pts)
Each of your slides must:

☐ Include Notes for each slide, as if you were actually presenting your presentation to the class. What would you be saying along with that slide?
☐ Include a 1-2 sentence statement on the slide itself that introduces or explains the image, or in some way introduces what you will be “saying” along with that slide.
☐ Utilize an Animation at least once in each slide. Each slide should utilize a different Animation.
☐ Choose a Transition for each of your slides. Each slide should utilize a different Transition. (5pts)
If you utilize the audio tools in PowerPoint to narrate your presentation, or use a tool such as VoiceThread (https://voicethread.com/), you’ll receive 5 bonus points. Be creative!
When you have completed your presentation, upload it to the This I Believe Presentation dropbox and share it in the Week 8 This I Believe Presentation discussion before 11:59 pm CT Wednesday.
