Quality can be defined differently by different people, based on various things, such as age, health status or even ethnicity. Students will define quality based on age groups and explore issues of quality health care., Generation X (20-40 y/o), Baby Boomers (40-60 y/o), and Seniors (65+) are the age groups to be included.
Students are to design a chart with issues related to quality healthcare for each age group. Students will compare the issues for similarities, whether these issues are being addressed in their communities, and whether or not one group’s desire for quality overrides another group’s. There should be at least 5 issues in each age group. A discussion of 250 words written in APA format is submitted to the instructor detailing: similar issues, addressing these issues and if one group’s desires take precedence over another group’s and why the student feels this is so.
