Read a biography or article about a leader within the fields of homeland security or emergency management who successfully “modeled the way” for his or her constituents.
Explain in 3-4 pages (double-spaced—about 750 -1,000 words) what this leader did to Model the Way, according to Kouzes & Posner, and what the results were for the leader’s constituents. Be sure to highlight whether the scenario involved the cooperation of multiple agencies/organizations. Was this leader responsible for the efforts of all agencies or just his/her own? Did their efforts at Modeling the Way spill over to all involved (i.e. to all agencies involved — assuming it was multi-agency).
