Prompt: Create a table and write a two to three page paper (excluding the table) which addresses the question below. How recruitment standards for law enforcement agencies in your area compare with another part of the country. Instructions: Research Select two local police agencies in your area. Choose the agencies in your immediate metropolitan area (this includes the major city police departments and suburban departments in the same state). Next, select one agency in another part of the United States. If you are using municipal police departments, make sure you use municipal police departments for all agencies examined, the same holds if you are using sheriff’s offices. Do not mix police and sheriff’s departments in your analysis. For each department selected, conduct research to determine the size of the population each jurisdiction serves using (Links to an external site.). Identify the minimum qualifications for each agency. Many (but not all) police agencies post employment and recruiting criteria on their websites. You must ensure that the agencies you select have the relevant information available on their websites. If they do not, find another agency that does. Among the minimum qualifications (for example — this list is not exhaustive): age requirements (minimum and maximum), citizenship, minimum educational requirements prior drug use, criminal record restrictions, are preferences given for specific qualities or characteristics?
