The written text should follow this format (a paragraph/section devoted to the topic, the motivation for researching it, and a clear statement of the research question(s); a paragraph/section outlining briefly the theoretical / background input; the literary analysis – this is the main body of your text, including only as much quotation as strictly necessary and ample explanation of what the textual evidence reveals and how it addresses your question; a short summary of your finding(s) so far). Please add the Works Cited at the end (both print and web sources). Length: approx. 3-4 pages (of your argument/analysis; keep quotation to the essential, if you need more or longer quotes, you can add them in an appendix that supplements your 3-4 pages. Cited material show not exceed 30% of your text – that’s the upper limit for close textual analysis, which you’re unlikely to be doing in this case). Academic level: 2nd year BA student (C2 level of English)
