Subway SWOT Analysis
Subway’s success can be attributed to its ability to focus on its strengths while actively overcoming any limitations that leave it vulnerable to competitors.
Regarding strengths, Subway offers an assortment of health-food options that appeal to customers in all the 100 nations where the company has outlets. There has been an increase in people embracing healthy foods across the world. That means that Subway has different ready markets to win new loyal customers.
Subway’s main weakness concerns its lack of diversification in product offerings. Some rivals could provide different food options alongside Subway’s select food offerings to the market.
Regarding opportunities, Subway stands to benefit from new technology making it possible to reach new markets. There is also a growing demand for delicious but nutritious foods worldwide. Subway could easily monopolize these markets.
Regarding threats, Subway’s most significant rivals include KFC, McDonald’s, and Pizza Hut. These fast-food chains have already established footholds in different continents worldwide. They could take on Subway’s market share by simply offering healthy options to regular fast foods.
