Write an essay fully discussing one of the following.
This essay must be at least 4 pages, double spaced, 10 or 12 font, in MLA format. Use one source and put it on a works cited page (at least one. You can use more than one if you want).
1) Discuss the drinking age. Either argue it should be lowered, it should stay the same, or it should be raised, and be clear about why.
2) Reflect on the recent protests, and the reasons they started. You can look at the Murder of George Floyd, Breona Taylor or any of the other citizens who were killed by police offices in the recent past. How is systemic racism that is built into AMerican society responsible for these things continuing to happen? How can it be fixed?
3) Look at “Adult Crime, Adult Time” and “Kids Who Kill Are Still Kids” and discuss whether children should ever be tried as adults. What is the age cut off? What should be done to determine a crime should be considered ‘adult’.
4) Choose your own topic based on current events. Make sure your point is clear, and we understand what your position is, and prove your point. Just take a position on an issue and argue your side of it with evidence.
