Scholarly, professional writing in the School of Social Work requires the accurate use of APA 7th Edition. Students must use Times New Roman 12-point font. b. This assignment is to be written in the third person with headings/sub-headings. 2) Case Identification (20 Points) [ K] a. A series of partial case illustrations (attached to this assignment) have been provided for this Signature Assignment. b. Select and identify one case illustration. c. Provide a very brief summary of the case (in your own words) outlining the major client problems, strengths, supports, and possible goals of the client. 3) Theory & Intervention Selection (70 Points) [K] a. Select a theory that can be applied to and which aligns with the chosen case illustration. b. Summarize and discuss the key concepts and assumptions of the theory. c. Critically evaluate the usefulness and effectiveness of this theory (this section has 3 components): i. in terms of the fit for this case ii. in terms of relevance to social work practice ii. in terms of alignment with professional values and ethics (*please utilize the NASW Code of Ethics). d. Identify and describe a specific evidence-informed intervention that aligns with both the client’s goals and theory selected. Note: this section must be supported and explained using correctly cited current scholarly published literature. 4) Theory & Intervention Application (70 Points) [S] a. Discuss how to apply the theory to the case illustration. b. Discuss in detail how the intervention will be implemented with the case illustration. c. Discuss in detail how the intervention would assist in achievement of the identified goals. d. Discuss how the chosen intervention could be supported through inter-professional collaboration. e. Describe the desired outcomes of the intervention and how you would know if the goals were accomplished.
