Task 1: Health Inequalities- Establish priority issues concerning the safety of the service user (William Burns),
focusing on health inequalities affecting the service user in the case study.
Note: Identify at least two (2) key inequality issues from the case study for further critical analysis, such as access to healthcare for people who sleep rough. Use the policy and Acts within the case study during the analysis.
The Policies and laws to identify what actions may be taken to keep William safe are:
*The Rough Sleeping Strategy (2018).
*The Mental Capacity Act (2005) – Focus on best interests and the inability to make decisions.
*Vagrancy Act (1824) – Focus on police powers.
