Our criminal justice and health care systems are overwhelmed by virtue of enormous amounts of crime, violence and substance abuse/addiction, which contributes to high arrest/incarceration rates, higher fatal auto accident rates, high rates of domestic violence/destruction of families, higher rates of disease/mortality, higher rates of homicide/suicide, higher rates of mass/school shootings and impairing physical/mental health. What do you attribute to the U.S. having the above out of control issues? Can we fix this devastating problem? What needs to be done about it?
