After meeting with your partner (assigned in class), you will:
Use this video to describe the role of a client in the counselling section. (634) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – YouTube in this video I will be the client.
Role-play a session– each student will take a turn playing both the client and therapist
submit a two-page paper (APA formatting) that includes:
A summary of the session content
An overview of the theoretically specific skill/technique/intervention used in the session
A reflection: how you employed the technique and how the client responded
