The assignment is simple. Answer the following question: Do you see any relevance to the COVID-19 pandemic in the material covered so far? Write 2-3 pages, double spaced. More is not necessarily better so do NOT force yourself to write 3 pages when 2 will do. You don’t have to structure it as a formal essay: that is why it is a *reflection* paper. You can think of it as a journal entry or imagine it as something you would say to a friend, to explain the relevance of the course material.
Relate the readings to some aspect of the pandemic. Some possibilities of thing to talk about include: unemployment, struggling businesses, Trump, Biden, the causes of the pandemic, and anything else you can think of. There is no right answer. The question just asks you to think about the situation the world is in right now and link it to some aspect of Political Economy discussed in the readings so far.
You should write citations like this (Mandel, 68) if you cite something specific.
