You will need to select 2 separate videos to watch. The speakers all have very thick European accents so it can be difficult to understand them at times. However, what they have to say will give you a first-hand account of Holocaust survivors. Some of these will discuss graphic, disturbing events, unfortunately this was the reality for many. Take notes about their “story” as you watch / listen. After you have watched 2 videos, you will write a paper that consists of no less than 5 paragraphs, no fewer than 200 words for each paragraph. The first paragraph will give a mini-biography of the first person that you watched. You need to include their name, where they were from, where they went, and then details about their story. The second paragraph will consist of a mini-biography of the second person that you watched. The third paragraph will be any similarities that you found within their story or where they were … there should be something similar that happened to both that you can discuss. The fourth paragraph will be any differences that the two endured. Again, there will be differences in their situation. The final paragraph will be a summary of what you learned from the Holocaust survivors and how their story has impacted you.
