Welcome all!  We will be using the discussion boards (DB) to share progress, challenges, and barriers as you go through your applied project. A few reminders about DBs: 1. just like progress notes in this class, no DBs will be accepted late; 2. Note that three (3) peer posts are required for full credit rather than 2 (which is typical in most past courses in the program).

• The initial post for DB1 – Wednesday, January 14 by 11:59 pm (AZ time)
• Three (3) Peer responses for DB1 – due on Saturday, January 17th by 11:59 pm (AZ time)
• Note that Discussion Board primary and associated peer posts, respectively, will NOT be accepted late in this course. There are only four total in this course, so mark your calendar accordingly!

Discussion Board 1: 

Part 1: Let’s hear your story…

1. (Any part of this is fine; it does not have to be all of it.) Where do you work (if you do), and what do you do? OR What has been your experience with regulatory science / regulatory affairs AND/OR what do you plan to do in the field (your hopes and dreams)?

Part 2: Create a collage of pictures that tell “your current story”. Helps us know who you are – See mine as an example!

Part 3: Create one to two sentences (so very brief overview) of your project idea. All the years I have been lucky enough to work with Applied Project, I see as many unique project ideas as I do students. However, I do see topic “trends” – lets see how many trends we have in this class!
