Determining anAppropriate ResearchDesignConsider the research question that you are proposing, and thinkabout which design(s) would be appropriate as you develop yourproposal. Think about the population you are researching, andwhether this warrants one of these experimental designs, andwhether your project is considered qualitative, quantitative, or amixed methods (combination of quantitative and qualitative)approach.Initial post focus on:· Identifying the most appropriate design (quantitative,qualitative, or mixed methods). Justifying your choice – explain why this design best fits yourpopulation, question, and purpose· Considering possible data collection methods and why(surveys, interviews, observations, experiments, etc.)· Discussing any practical or ethical factors that could affectyour design· Supporting your reasoning with at least one scholarly source(for example, Creswell, Rubin & Babbie, or another researchmethods text)You don’t need to finalize every detail yet-your goal is to develop <a clear direction for how your study could be carried out. Thisdiscussion will serve as the foundation for your Methods sectionlater in the course.Treat this like any other discussion board: submit your initial postand respond to at least two of your peers
