Portfolio Element 1: Essay (précis) The module learning outcomes assessed:

1. Demonstrate a critical understanding of the current literature on strategic workforce planning, including talent management, learning organisations, diversity and inclusion.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of the main theories of team dynamics and conflict management.

Task:

 “Learning organisations” is seen as a central concept towards organisational competitiveness.Discuss the critical literature in this field using relevant and recent authoritative sources and justify whether the concept still holds true in the current business contexts.

Requirements:

1. a) You are required to write an academic essay of no less than 700 and no more than 1000 words (not including bibliography).

1. b) You must have used exactly eight sources of published literary sources. c) The tutor will provide three out of the eight sources.
2. d) You are required to obtain five of the required eight sources independently.
