The purpose of this assignment is to help you understand the architecture of a media server and how it can be used in one of the multimedia applications. The report should have two parts. Part 1 In this part you will evaluate one open source media server you may find. In case you are not sure, you may try VideoLan (http://www.videolan.org/) or Icecast (http://www.icecast.org/).
