CHCECE009 Use an Approved Learning Framework to Guide Practice : Educational Opp
Task:
Practical Competency Portfolio
In most cases, it is up to the Diploma Room Leader to outline planned activities and outcome goals. However, as an assistant in the room, it is important for you to be aware of how learning frameworks are applied within your centre and their importance to creating quality, standardised educational opportunities for children.
For this assessment, you are required to collect evidence of your observations and involvement with a learning framework while at an early childhood education and care setting.
Legal Considerations – Copyright and Student Confidentiality
If you use copies of activity plans in your assessments, they must clearly state who wrote them, i.e. Educator: Nina Jones.
In any images that involve pictures where children can be identified, it is vital that they only be used if you have a signed permission slip from the child’s parents or guardians. Alternatively, consider taking pictures of the set-up activity areas with no children present.
