‒ Select a topic or a theme from recent events related to the risk management and/or insurance industry; any reputable source with information about the event is acceptable
‒ Research additional information relevant to that topic or theme (Google search is fine, but use reputable sources)
‒ Include these 4 sections at a minimum; add additional sections as you wish
1. Background – summarize the article(s) or event and additional information discovered 2. Discussion – discuss your observations, opinions, concerns, and/or questions about the topic
3. Relevance – apply concepts you’ve learned in this course that are relevant to the article(s) or event
4. Significance – discuss why this article or event may be significant to you, your family, your community, your career, and/or our world
General Requirements:
General requirements applicable to ALL options are as follows:
Submit a 2-3 page written evaluation, double-spaced, using 10-12 point font and 1” margins.
‒ Submit electronically via ICON Assignments no later than Tuesday, August 3rd, at 11:59pm ‒ Informal assignment only, citations not required
‒ Microsoft Word or PDF document type
‒ Use headings and format your document to clearly identify required sections
