Pitch development worksheet
Your pitch is tailored to the target market that you working in. A Target Market is defined as the location, industry (or company size) and the position that you are in.
To create an effective pitch you must be clear on:
Who you are pitching to, you have to know something about them
What they ideally are interested in
What is unique about you, what authentically separates you from everyone else who has a job similar to yours
For each of your target markets:
What is the most important thing I want this target to know about me? (If they know nothing else about you, this is what you want them to know. This is where you position yourself.)
What is the second most important thing I want this target market to know about me? (This statement could support and or broaden your introductory statement.)
List your 3 – 5 key accomplishments I have done that support and prove the statements above:
